Sage partner Aktion Associates announced that they’ve acquired the construction practice of United Solutions, a Massachusetts based Sage CRE software reseller.
According to the press release:
This acquisition expands our customer base in the Construction & Real Estate (CRE) markets in North America,” said Aktion CEO Scott Irwin. “A key to this acquisition was onboarding the talented group of industry-focused consultants with deep-rooted Sage expertise experienced in servicing their customer base. He added, “With the new combined Sage customer base and the addition of the 2021 acquisition of Central Consulting Group’s Architecture and Engineering (A&E) Deltek customer base, this is a continuation of the strategic focus to develop Aktion as the largest Value Added Reseller (VAR) in the Architecture Engineer and Construction (AEC) industry.
United Solutions Principal Greg Kirshe will join Aktion Associates as well as an unspecified number of United Solutions staff.
In July 2021, Aktion Associates acquired Central Consulting Group which included 1,100 Deltek customers.
Aktion Associates is based in Maumee Ohio with branches in Arizona and North Carolina. They have 220 employees and 6,500 customers with 4.000 of those customers being in the construction industry. The company offers Sage, Infor, Acumatica and Deltek solutions as well as providing cloud hosting.
