Sage has added another Strategic Hosting Provider ( SHP ) to their cloud hosting provider program. CompuData, based out of Philadelphia, PA has been named as the newest SHP.
This appears to bring to 4 the number of SHP that Sage has authorized. It seems likely there will be more on the way. Although the press release doesn’t mention which product(s) the designation is for this appears likely to be for Sage 100 based on the products that are listed on CompuData’s website.
The SHP is a way for Sage to authorize partners who offer cloud hosting. These partners must pass a certification process with Sage. Once completed they are able to offer cloud hosting services to both their customers and customers of other Sage partners.
