Sage announces Marc Monday as “caretaker” of the Sage North America Partner Channel while they “actively recruit to backfill Nancy [Teixeira’s] role”.
Teixeira departed Sage as North American SVP Strategy and Sales on January 6, 2023 “to pursue other opportunities”. The departure appeared amicable as Teixeira penned a goodbye letter to channel partners while mentioning that Sage would be notifying them of an interim appointment to assume her duties.
As to whether this is an interim or more permanent appointment – I’ll take $100 on this being a permanent gig for Monday. Sage tends to use an interim title and description to describe what others might view as a probationary period.
The next Sage earnings report ( Q1 2023 trading update ) is scheduled for Thursday January 19, 2023 at 8:30 am GMT so perhaps we’ll hear more about Sage’s channel strategy then.
