Yesterday brought a noteworthy update on LinkedIn. Daniel Oh, VP of Medium Segment at Sage, announced his move to Acumatica as their Vice President of Business Development. Daniel’s association with Sage spans nearly 21 years, marked by a series of roles with increasing responsibilities. His most recent role was overseeing Sage’s Medium Segment Business and Partner Strategy in Canada, comprised of Sage Intacct, Sage X3, and Sage 300 financial accounting software businesses.
Starting in 2003 in Irvine, CA, Daniel began as a Customer Support Engineer. He rose through roles including Quality Assurance Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, and Regional Account Manager. His tenure in Sage saw him move up through various directorial positions, including Director of Inside Sales in multiple locations and Director of Channel Sales in Toronto. By 2019, he was appointed the Vice President of the Medium Business Segment, responsible for the Go-to-Market strategy for Sage products like Sage Intacct, Sage X3, and Sage 300.
While the announcement detailed his new role and aspirations at Acumatica, it was interesting to note the absence of any direct acknowledgment of his extensive history with Sage.
