Craig Inglis, the former marketing chief of John Lewis, has left his position as executive vice president of global brand and integrated marketing at Sage, a B2B financial technology firm, after just 16 months.
Inglis joined Sage in June 2021, after a 12-year stint at John Lewis, where he was responsible for the company’s marketing strategy. Prior to that, he worked at Virgin Trains for a decade.
At Sage, Inglis was credited with revamping the company’s brand and making the case for investing heavily in marketing. In a LinkedIn post last year, he said he was “totally seduced” by Sage’s mission to help small and medium-sized businesses thrive.
Sage confirmed Inglis’ departure in a statement, saying, “We wish him all the best for the future.”
