Aktion Associates, a valued added reseller for Acumatica, Infor, Sage, has hired Nancy Sperry as their new Vice President of the Construction & Real Estate Division. She’ll work alongside and eventually replace Steve Handy, a 30-year veteran of Aktion. Sperry’s official start date is January 1, 2024, though she’ll begin working alongside Steve Handy between now and then.
Why is this a big deal? Well, Nancy’s got a resume that’s a who’s who of ERP software. She’s spent a decade in leadership at Sage Intacct and 15 years working with Deltek. Aktion’s CEO, Scott E. Irwin, says her skills perfectly match the company’s goals.
Nancy will lead a team delivering Sage Construction ERP software solutions. They’ll support current customers and work on some add-ons to extend software functionality.
As for Steve Handly, the current VP, he’s not riding off into the sunset just yet. Starting January 1, he’ll be a Senior Industry Consultant working on special projects.
